These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BillSync, operated at bill-sync.com. By using BillSync, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

BillSync is a VAT declaration management tool that helps businesses in Israel upload, organize, and match invoices, receipts, bank statements, and credit card statements. The service uses AI to extract data from financial documents.

2. Account Registration

• You must sign in using a valid Google account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when using the service.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use BillSync.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use BillSync only for lawful business purposes related to VAT declaration management.
• Upload only documents you have the right to process.
• Not attempt to access other users' or teams' data.
• Not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the service.
• Not use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

• BillSync offers Free, Pro, and Business subscription plans.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• New paid subscriptions include a 14-day free trial.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us for requests.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of BillSync is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. We do not sell your data.

6. AI-Extracted Data

BillSync uses AI to extract information from your documents. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI extraction may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before using it for official VAT declarations.
• BillSync is a tool to assist with VAT management, not a replacement for professional accounting advice.
• We are not liable for errors in AI-extracted data or any resulting financial consequences.

7. Team Features

• Team owners and admins are responsible for managing team member access.
• All team members can view and edit team data according to their role.
• Removing a team member revokes their access to team data.

8. Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillSync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to errors in data extraction, missed VAT deadlines, or financial penalties.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BillSync after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
